Together, these individuals guide the direction and future of TreeAge Software, Inc.


Morris Raker, CEO and Co-Founder
Morris Raker, co-founder of TreeAge Software, was a practicing attorney for more than thirty years specializing in complex financial transactions and corporate restructuring problems. He received his B.S. in Chemistry from Yale University and his L.L.B. from Harvard Law School. As a partner in the Boston law firm of Sullivan & Worcester, he was special counsel for the Trustees of The New York, New Haven & Hartford Railroad, one of the principal attorneys involved in the sale of that railroad to the Penn Central, and among the principal authors of the Penn Central and New Haven reorganization plans. He has lectured on the application of quantitative management techniques to the negotiation and resolution of business disputes at Harvard, Northeastern, Stanford, Boston, Suffolk and Tufts Universities and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Jeff Stripp, Director, Marketing & Sales
Jeff Stripp drives new strategy and growth for TreeAge Software and develops the company's exposure and penetration in the marketplace. Before joining TreeAge, he was the co-founder of Insight Bridge,a research and consulting firm delivering timely information, expert insight and research to high tech companies. His primary responsibilities included strategic development, marketing and sales. Earlier, Jeff worked for MindBranch, Inc., a leading market research aggregator. As Vice President of Sales and Director of Supplier Relations, he drove the strategy and planning for the company's main customer groups and worked with research firms such as Forrester, IDC, Giga Information Group and Aberdeen as well as customers such as Sprint PCS, Verizon, Janus Capital and Cingular Wireless. Before joining MindBranch, Jeff founded and operated a group of retail and wholesale operations in the Natural Foods industry. He holds a BA in economics from Williams College.

Andy Sheldon, Director, Support & Training
Andy Sheldon serves TreeAge as technical support lead and software trainer. He received his A.B.from Amherst College in 1992. Andy returned to Western Massachusetts in 1997 to join TreeAge after spending several years in the Pacific Northwest, where he provided technical support for an engineering consulting firm and a workforce development agency.

David Hoffer, Director and Co-Founder
David Hoffer co-founded TreeAge Software and was the principal architect and developer of DATA in the mid-1980's. Now a part-time consultant to TreeAge, he is a Managing Director at RCW Mirus, a middle-market investment bank in Boston. Prior to joining RCW Mirus, Hoffer served as chief operating officer of a venture-backed software company in Boston and as COO and general counsel of an e-commerce company in Cambridge. Previously, he practiced law in Seattle and served as a mediator in Boston and Washington, D.C. Hoffer has given numerous presentations on the use of decision analysis in law, business, dispute resolution, and healthcare. He has lectured at M.I.T., Harvard, and the University of Washington on using decision analysis to model complex healthcare, business, and legal decisions. Hoffer is a graduate of Harvard College, Harvard Law School and the Harvard Business School.
