Windows PC with 486 or Pentium microprocessor or higher
Operating System
Windows 98 or later (Vista, XP, 2000, 98)
Mac/Linux users: TreeAge Pro requires PC emulation software,
such as Boot Camp, Parallels, VMWare, Virtual PC or Wine.)
Excel Add-in requires Microsoft® Excel 9.0 (Office
2000), 10.0 (Office XP), or higher.
Memory
Minimum memory requirements vary by operating system (from
4 to 12 MB).
More memory is required if larger models are created (~1MB per 1500
nodes)
and/or long simulations are performed.
Hard Disk Space
Approximately 15 MB required.
Monitor
256-color graphics card or compatible video graphics adapter
and monitor.
CD-ROM Drive
Not required.
Internet Connection
Not required; however, the Internet Authorization button in
our license manager utilizes XML and requires a recent version of
Internet Explorer (5.5+) or Windows to work. If one of these is
not available, users can install using the Manual Authorization option.
Sound
Not required.
